The Amazing Niagara BTC End-to-End, May 19, 20, 21, 2012

Some come for the food, others for the camaraderie. Maybe you're looking for a challenge, a chance to brag to all your friends how tough (or crazy) you are. Whatever the reasons, you'll be guaranteed an exciting, challenging, fun-filled weekend along one of the most spectacular sections of the Niagara Escarpment, full of beautiful waterfalls, incredible rock formations and breathtaking vistas. This is also a great time of year to see the wildflowers and visit the many wineries.

So who’s up for some excitement? Who’s ready for a challenge? If the answer is me (meaning you), then come and join the Niagara Club’s annual end-to-end, taking place over the long weekend in May. Registration is $10 for each day or $30 for the entire weekend (to help with transportation) and for those completing all 3 days (approximately 25km, 33km & 23km respectively), the coveted Niagara Club End-to-End badge will be waiting for you - what a deal!

The hikes take place rain or shine and there will be lots of snacks and refreshments along the way. There will also be prizes awarded at the end of each hike. So don’t delay – register today!

Laura Secord Hike, Saturday June 23, 2012

Follow in the footsteps of a Canadian Heroine by hiking from Queenston to DeCew. This 30KM hike is challenging but a memorable walk along the Bruce Trail starting where Laura began her walk so many years ago and ending at the De Cew House where she passed on information about the enemy’s plans.

Registration is $20. The hike takes between 5 and 7 hours to complete.
